Week 1: Measures 1-8; The G Clef; Navigating keys and notes on the piano and sheet music; the basics of fingerings and reading notes; Flats and Key Signatures; The Natural Symbol; Playing multiple voices in one hand; The F Clef
Week 2: Measures 9-18; Mnemonics for quickly reading G clef and F clef notes; The Basics of Pedaling; Counting duple and triple rhythms; Grace notes
Week 3: Measures 19-26; Using fingers and hand shapes to find notes; Rolling chords; the Octava symbol
Week 4: Measures 27-30; Note values; Special rules for white keys without black flats; Techniques for sharing notes between both hands
Week 5: Measures 31-36; More techniques for playing multiple voices in one hand; Introduction to sharps
Week 6: Measures 37-38; Key signatures with sharps; fingerings for smaller hands or larger hands with limited flexibility; special rules for white keys without black sharps
Week 7: Measures 39-40; reading ledger lines above the G clef staff;
Week 8: Measures 41-42; using hands as cookie cutters to find notes and intervals; more fingerings for smaller or less flexible hands
Week 9: Measures 43-46; Using cookie cutter hand shapes for block chords; using cutouts to break down difficult passages
Week 10: Measures 47-50; Musical analysis - composer tools and how they transform musical material
Week 11: Measures 51-58; Transformation of the opening melody; techniques for playing softly
Week 12: Measures 59-72; Summary of the piece in the coda; how to play with colors in sound
